Aspen Counseling of CNY

We can help you grow

One of the greatest things you can do for yourself and your family is be the healthiest person you can be.

Growing for the future

Life is challenging. We all deal with daily stress and worry that can feel overwhelming at times. It can be difficult to find balance in our lives between our responsibilities to others and our own self care needs.

Most of uhave been touched directly or indirectly by experiences with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems or substance abuse. Whether it is happening to us, a family member or a spouse it can be painful and feel isolating.

The decision to try therapy is the first step on the path to recovery. Learning how to overcome the barriers in our lives will free us to experience life in new and healthier ways. Psychotherapy offers us perspective, skills and support to help find balance in our lives and feel more fulfilled. We offer individual therapy, family therapy and couples counseling to cover many of life’s challenges including: grief and loss, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, stress, parenting issues and substance abuse. We specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety and stress in adults and we are trained to work with adolescents experiencing relationship issues in their family, at school and with their peers.

At Aspen Counseling of CNY we practice a person-centered, strength-based approach with our clients. This means empowering you to be actively involved in our therapeutic journey every step of the way. Your needs, interests, passions and dreams are always at the center of our work together. We believe in facilitating self-determination, treating people with respect and dignity, and working together to enhance the quality of your life. A strength-based approach means building on, and celebrating your competencies and abilities instead of overly focusing on deficits. It's about unlocking your potential and nurturing your ability to grow and thrive.
